From Custom Molding to Iconic Brands
Founded in 1986, Discovery Plastics began as a full-service custom injection molding company. Our mission was simple: help customers bring their ideas to life with precision manufacturing, responsive service, and on-time delivery. Over the years, we’ve produced components and finished goods for industries including agriculture, construction, industrial supply, and consumer products.
The Fortex® and Fortiflex® Legacy
Fortex launched over 60 years ago with rugged, all-rubber farm and stable products. Fortiflex followed in 1975, offering durable high-density plastic options in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. These brands quickly earned a reputation for reliability among farmers, ranchers, equestrians, and homeowners. Discovery began producing these products in 2007.
A New Chapter
In February 2025, Discovery Plastics acquired the Fortex® and Fortiflex® brands and product lines. This brought two strong legacies under one roof:
- Fortiflex Plastic Products. Manufactured in-house at our Oklahoma facility using our injection molding machines.
- Fortex Rubber Products. Still proudly imported from our long-time partners in Guatemala, ensuring the same quality customers have relied on for decades.
- Custom Molding services. Our production facility is equipped with quality control systems and a skilled team dedicated to meeting your exact requirements.
